Mission Statement
To preserve peace where law alone cannot; to defend sovereign nations without seeking dominion over them; to exercise strength only where restraint would permit greater injustice.
We exist not to govern nations, but to ensure they remain free to govern themselves. We measure success not by the battles fought, nor by the recognition received, but by the quiet nights in which no family loses a home to war.
We will act only when conscience demands action, and only after every peaceful path has been exhausted. We accept that some decisions leave no clean hands. We do not celebrate that burden, nor hide from it. When force becomes necessary, it shall be deliberate, proportional, and directed only toward ending violence—not perpetuating it. We claim no empire. We seek no territory. We ask for no gratitude. Our duty is fulfilled when others no longer need us. Strength without restraint is tyranny. Restraint without strength is surrender. Peace demands both.
The Six Principles of the Service:
Sovereignty - To defend the sovereignty of states, their people, and their territory.
Peace - Victory should not be writted by surrender, but by the ability of the commonfolk to return to normalcy.
Restraint - Capability without discipline is indistinguishable from conquest. Restrain the public from danger, Restrain ourselves from conquest, and Restrain the aggressors from causing harm.
Judgment - Every intervention is a personal moral burden, never a bureaucratic convenience.
Non-Martyrdom - "One must not be scared to have bloodied dirty hands so that a criminal never wrecks a home."
Force, when unavoidable, is accepted as tragedy—not triumph.
Absence as Legacy - The greatest success of KSS is to become unnecessary, leaving stronger governments and quieter seas behind than those they found.
